With Tom Cruise reportedly romancing former Victoria’s Secret supermodel Miranda Kerr, his ex-wife Katie Holmes is making a play for Miranda’s ex, Orlando Bloom!
“Katie feels hurt and betrayed,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER.
“She and Tom had an agreement they’d keep their dating lives out of the public eye for at least a few years.”
But when Katie, 35, heard that Tom, 52, and Miranda, 31, were publicly flirting on the set of “Mission: Impossible 5,” all bets were off!
“Katie was enraged,” a close friend said. “She feels Tom is violating their promise.”
But insiders said Tom’s hookup may, in fact, be payback! And that Katie broke the agreement first. In October 2013, The ENQUIRER reported that Katie and Tom’s close friend, Jamie Foxx, were having a hush-hush affair.
According to friends, Tom felt betrayed by both Jamie and Katie.
Enter 37-year-old hunk Orlando – star of “The Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie franchises – who split with Miranda in October 2013 after a three-year marriage.
Katie and Orlando first met in 2008 when Tom introduced them at a UNICEF benefit in New York City.
“They remained in touch and have met up in New York for dinner or drinks,” an insider said. “Katie’s always had a crush on Orlando and since they’re both single, she figures, ‘Why not?’”
Katie arranged a meeting with Orlando about appearing in her directorial debut, “All We Had,” the source added.
“She followed up by inviting him over for a romantic dinner in late October at her home in Los Angeles,” said the source.
“There were sparks between them, and Katie’s interested in sticking it to Tom. And if a hookup comes out of it, that’s a bonus!”
