It was only a week ago that the cancer stricken star had checked himself into the hospital January 9 suffering from a reported case of pneumonia.
The Ghost star’s flack Annett Wolf didn’t elaborate on Swayze’s condition but told media "is well enough to have been released" and now resting at his Los Angeles home with wife, Lisa.
Just days prior to his surprise hospital stay, in an interview with Barbara Walters, Swayze said his cancer put him “through hell” as he struggled to finish the first season of his Chicago based cop series The Beast.
Producers divulged they learned that Swayze had pancreatic cancer only hours after being told the series had been picked up for the cable net.
