SUSAN SARANDON drops a bombshell at fete for French film icon CATHERINE DENEUVE.
At the Lincoln Center Film Society Chaplin toasting of Deneuve, for her 50 year career with cinema's greatest directors — Truffaut, Buñuel, Téchiné, Polanski, Demy — onetime costar Susan Sarandon stunned the crowd with her admission.
Sarandon quipped, "I am probably the only presenter who has actually slept with Catherine Deneuve!"
They did so in the 1983 vampire flick The Hunger where Catherine played a bisexual drinker of blood and Susan her willing thrall.
Deneuve’s daughter Chiara Mastroinanni elaborated, "She is absolutely fearless on the screen and off."
Elaborating on her mom’s outspoken ultra-liberal politics, Chiara said, "Rick Santorum is probably NOT an admirer.”
That's his problem — viva l'Deneuve!
