BARBRA STREISAND is on the warpath after she found out that her ex-lover Jon Peters is planning to dish intimate secrets about their life together in a sizzling new reality show, says an insider.

Jon, 68, and his daughters Skye, 21, and Caleigh, 23, are working with the producers who rocketed the Kardashians to fame and hope to have a huge hit with their own show, “The Peters Sisters.”

While the program will focus mainly on the girls, Streisand, who jealously guards her privacy, has apparently been told she’s the major selling point.

“Barbra is furious that Jon is trying to sell a tacky reality show by reminding everyone that he lived with her and he has big secrets to tell,” revealed a family friend.

“She’s asking pals to get the message to Jon that if he moves forward with the project, and any of them say one word about her, she’s going to slap him, the production company and the network with a major lawsuit so fast it’ll make their heads spin.”

The 71-year-old diva met Jon, a former hair-stylist, when he designed a wig for her in the 1974 comedy “For Pete’s Sake.” Sparks flew and they lived together from 1974 until the early ’80s.

They never married or had children but remained on good terms for a while after the split. In fact, Barbra is the godmother to Jon’s daughters and is also friendly with their mother, Jon’s ex-wife Christine Forsyth, a film producer.

This isn’t the first time Jon – who produced big-screen blockbusters including “Man of Steel,” “Flashdance,” “Batman” and “Rain Man” and is former co-chairman of Sony- Columbia Pictures – has tried to cash in on his relationship with Barbra.

In 2009, the wheeler-dealer shopped his autobiography, “Studio Head,” but locked horns with Barbra after she heard he intended to reveal juicy details about their life together.

She blasted the proposed book on her website, and Jon got such negative feedback he backed out of a deal. He tried again in 2012, but once again wound up shelving the project.

Now he’s focused on making his kids the new Kardashians, and they’ve already shot some footage to show network bosses. Jon believes his girls can attract viewers, but he’s using Barbra to bait producers, according to the source.

“No one knows Jon’s girls, so producers will want to use his past with Barbra to get the audience interested,” explained the friend. “Jon knows Barbra is extremely private, but he’s desperate to get back in the limelight – and drag his kids with him.”
