Saturday Night Live star JAN HOOKS has died at age 57.

Her rep confirmed the sad news to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jan got her start with famed improv group The Groundlings and first appeared on Ted Turner's pre-TBS show "Tush" with Bill Tush.

Hook was a SNL regular from 1986 to 1991 and continued making cameo appearances until 1994.

She famously played then First Lady Hillary Clinton to Phil Hartman's "Philander-in-Chief."

Among her later TV gigs were a regular role on the last two seasons of Designing Women” replacing Jean Smart and “3rd Rock From the Sun” which garnered her an Emmy nom.

She also had memorable turns in the films “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” ("There's NO basement in The Alamo"), “Wildcats” with Goldie Hawn and cameo-ed in Tim Burton’s “Batman Returns” as an image consultant to The Penguin (Danny Devito).

The cause of her death is yet unknown but she was reportedly battling a "serious illness."
