Simpsons, Simpsons, Simpsons – we just can’t get enough of Simpsons!
First, Lisa Simpson’s voice is heading to divorce court!
Voice thesp par excellance, Yeardley Smith, has filed for divorce from four year hubby, Daniel Erickson, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Reason? Irreconcilable differences – d’oh!
But woe unto us! While Fox has inked the The Simpsons for a senses-shattering 20th season, there’s big trouble brewing in Springfield – and it has nothing to do with Sideshow Bob’s vendetta!
The show’s vocal talent – Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer and Nancy Cartwright make $360,000 per episode and are now asking for $500,000 each per ep – which is about what live action sitcom actors make per ep.
However, if the money issues aren’t resolved soon, The Simpsons 20th season may open with – gasp – a rerun!
FYI: It takes a whole lotta time time to make those inky splotchy things come to life – even in Korea.
