Waif-like Angelina Jolie has been warned to pack on the pounds — or risk jeopardizing the health of her unborn baby.
At almost six months pregnant, the 30-year-old Oscar winner and U.N. goodwill ambassador had gained just 12 lbs — and doctors say the ideal weight gain for a full-term pregnancy is 30 lbs.
Now sources say doting dad Brad Pitt is desperately trying to persuade Angelina to eat more — and even trying to get her to slow her jet-setting schedule until after the baby is born.
A close friend revealed: “Angelina has been told by her doctors that although the baby is healthy, she is below the ideal weight for a woman at this stage in the pregnancy.
“She has been told she must eat more. She is naturally slim but has been looking increasingly boney lately.”
