SHARON STONE is reeling from another family tragedy – her beloved nephew Colin Stone has died of a suspected drug overdose.

The 22-year-old’s body was discovered Nov. 10 at his apartment in North Hollywood, Calif., “during a welfare check by his apartment manager,” said Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner office.

Colin’s death was recorded as a possible overdose, pending toxicology reports, Ed said.

The death was believed to be a heroin overdose, sources said. Sharon, 56, had just finished filming “Life on the Line” with John Travolta when she got the news, a family insider said. “Sharon is devastated! Years ago, she helped Colin’s dad – her brother, Michael – get his life back on track after serving time for selling
narcotics.”

Michael Stone, now 63, did two years for possession of a kilo of cocaine.

Sharon reportedly helped Michael out with a role in her 1995 western, “The Quick and the Dead.” The source said: “Michael was able to escape a life of drugs. Unfortunately, his son was not so lucky.”
