The ultimate chick flick did twice industry expectations,clobbering all competition including Spielberg’s Indiana Jones geri-action flick.
"Women power," said Warner Brothers head of distribution Dan Fellman.
"This was to women what Indiana Jones and Star Wars are to men," said box-office tracker Media By Numbers prez Paul Dergarabedian.
"A blockbuster for women."
