Robin Williams has found love again – with the woman he credits with saving his life, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

The twice-married Oscar winner has fallen for Susan Schneider, a 45-year-old graphic designer from Northern California, who nursed him back to health after open-heart surgery.

Robin and Susan have kept their relationship secret for nearly a year. They met at a party in San Francisco, where Robin owns a home in the tony Sea Cliff area.

"It’s no wonder that Robin fell for her," said the source. "She’s sharp, funny, talented and runs her own successful graphic design company and gallery."

Susan was by Robin’s side when the 58-year-old underwent surgery at a Cleveland clinic in mid-March, during which doctors replaced his aortic valve, repaired his mitral valve and corrected an irregular heartbeat.

"Robin truly believes it’s no coincidence that Susan came into his life right before his heart operation," confided the source. "He told a pal, ‘She saved me – she helped me heal.’"

And Susan has helped Robin in other ways. They met the year after Robin split with second wife Marsha after 19 years of marriage in 2008.

"Robin was down after the breakup, and Susan picked him right back up again!"
