Ladies’ man LEONARDO DICAPRIO is dating wild pop singer RIHANNA – but his beloved mother, Irmelin, is ready to sink the “Titanic” star’s latest love interest!
“Irmelin wants grandkids fast, and she gets her hopes up every time Leo starts dating someone new,” said a family insider.
But the “extremely disappointed” mom isn’t shy about listing how Rihanna pales next to the supermodels-next-door that Leo usually brings home.
“She doesn’t like Rihanna’s weed smoking, her near-naked outfits and her terrible dating past!” said the source.
Another family pal told The National ENQUIRER: “Irmelin was so disappointed when Leo didn’t marry Gisele [Bündchen], and thinks he was crazy to let her go. She also got her hopes up when his romance with Bar [Refaeli] lasted more than 10 minutes, and the same with Blake [Lively].”
It seems Irmelin judges any girl her son dates on whether she’s potential mother material – and “Rihanna’s days are numbered,” as a result.
“Rihanna’s shock tactics are coming back to haunt her,” said the friend. “Irmelin thinks she’s way too wild, and will only lead him astray – and let’s face it, Leo doesn’t need any encouragement in the party department.”
As the only child to the 70-year-old former legal secretary, Leo, 40, has always hoped to fulfill Irmelin’s dream of becoming a grandmother.
“Leo never wants to marry anyone, but he’s not going to leave his mom without a grandchild,” the insider said. “The problem is, Rihanna is not the type of person Irmelin sees as the mother of her grandkids!”
