The loony who assaulted Ryan Seacrest‘s bodyguard trying to get a piece of the Idol host has been booked in LA.
According to police, Ryan had been approached by Chidi Benjamin Uzomah, Jr, 25, seeking his signature outside the Children’s Hospital in Orange County but when Ryan refused the alleged attacker followed Ryan back to his limo.
When Ryan’s security team leaped in to protect the star, the autograph hound started a wild brawl, nearly choking a bodyguard into unconsciousness.
Later a switchblade was found on the wild fan.
Usomah was later booked on suspicion with a deadly weapon or force likely to cause great bodily injury and is being held on $25,000 bail, law enforcement authorities said.
As for Seacrest?
"Ryan pulled away as the thing started," Sgt. Dan Adams of the Orange Police Department revealed. "He wasn’t involved and didn’t see anything."
