The daughter of MICHAEL JACKSON is planning a wedding as she rebounds from depression with a new love – and a new religion!

“Her late father, the King of Pop, will be there in spirit,” a close source told The National ENQUIRER.

“But in Michael’s place, her uncle – Jermaine Jackson – will walk her down the aisle.”

Paris Jackson, 17, first got together with 18-year-old Chester Castellaw, a rising soccer star whose accomplishments include competing at the Maccabiah Games in Israel in 2013, when she returned to the Jackson estate in Calabasas, Calif., after a long stint in a Utah boarding school.

Now she’s hoping to get hitched as soon as she turns 18!

“Paris has decided to tie the knot because she’s worried about the health of her grandmother, Katherine,” said the insider.

“She wants to be sure Katherine is at the wedding. Paris can wed after she turns 18, which is next April 3, or she can do it sooner with the family’s legal permission.”

The teen couple was photographed on May 16 while coming out of a L.A. coffee shop, with Paris flashing an engagement ring on her engagement finger!

But there’s still one big hitch to Paris getting hitched – with the eager bride-to-be talking about converting to her beau’s Jewish faith!

That’s causing some new tension within the Jackson clan, since Paris’ grandmother is a devout Jehovah’s Witness.

“Katherine and the other members of the Jackson family certainly don’t want to pressure Paris into giving Chester up,” said another close friend of the family.

The insider added the Jacksons are determined not to upset Paris, who survived a terrifying suicide attempt in 2013.

Said the source: “The family believes that Paris is still in a very vulnerable state, so they have to tread lightly!”
