Bill O’Reilly sent a film crew to ambush former View co-host Rosie O’Donnell at a recent book signing. O’Reilly’s film crew showed up to inquire about O’Donnell’s politics as she was autographing copies of Celebrity Detox in Long Island.
At first O’Donnell didn’t believe the crew was from O’Reilly’s show, but then she said, “If Bill wants me he should phone me himself. He’s a big boy.”
An O’Reilly producer told O’Donnell, “He wants to know if you regret saying 9/11 was an inside job.” Rosie kept her cool as she greeted the 500 fans that came out to see her, simply saying, “I didn’t say that. He’s quoting the wrong people.”
Rosie asked for the cameras to be turned off but the crew kept rolling. Eventually security men escorted the O’Reilly team out.
