It’s Tiger’s first major endorsement loss since The ENQUIRER’s bombshell world exclusive two weeks ago that he had a mistress named Rachel Uchitel and then his bizarre car crash scenario which opened the floodgates to a bevy of self-proclaimed Tiger Girls.
Gatorade released a statement Tuesday saying the move to discontinue its "Tiger Focus" drink had nothing to do with the potent putter’s media spiral and that the decision to axe the king of swing was made before Tiger’s admitted "transgressions".
Gatorade officials told CNBC: "We decided several months ago to discontinue Gatorade Tiger Focus along with some other products to make room for our planned series of innovative products in 2010. We hope to share more about our 2010 plans soon."
Probably none for the seeming lecherous Mr. Woods.
