A distraught JENNIFER ANISTON collapsed in tears over her dashed baby dreams after learning pals Molly Sims and Liv Tyler are both expecting.
A close friend tells The National ENQUIRER the 45-year-old actress is in “deep mourning” over her frustrating efforts to have kids with fiancé Justin Theroux, 43, and seeing her closest friends with growing bumps has taken its toll.
Jen was especially upset after model-turned-actress Molly, 41, announced last month that she’s expecting her second child with hubby, Scott Stuber, said the pal.
“After Molly told Jen she was expecting, it really hit her hard,” the insider said. “Jen puts on a brave face, but having so many pregnant friends is extremely tough on her.
“Molly became a kind of fertility mentor to Jen when she and Justin tried to conceive last year,” added the insider.
“They tried everything from alternative therapies, like cupping, to seeing one of L.A.’s top fertility experts. Jen really had her heart set on it, so it’s been horrific for her to see her friends get pregnant.”
Jen’s been so overwhelmed by “baby envy” that friends say she’s actually been having “jealousy therapy” to help overcome it.
“Jen thought she’d come to terms with it and was focusing on having fun with Justin and her work,” said the pal.
“But right now it feels like everyone’s having babies but her. It’s no secret to her loved ones how much she’s wanted this all her life.
“Jen can’t help it, but she gets jealous as hell about everyone else’s happiness. She’s a big believer in therapy and has been getting professional guidance to try to get these bad feelings out of her system.
“She’s trying to deal with it, but it’s heartbreaking.”
