Nicole is moving from Nashville to Tinseltown just so she can keep tabs on hubby Keith Urban as he films “American Idol” with hot-to-trot man-eater Jennifer Lopez!
The actress, 47, even plans to be a regular audience member at “Idol” tapings so “J.Lo knows she’s there,” said a source.
“Nic’s worried sick over what they might get up to behind her back. That’s why she’s not going to let her husband out of her sight!”
As The National ENQUIRER has reported, Nic’s marriage to Keith, 47, hit the skids last year due to his “flirt fest” with J.Lo.
“Nic and Keith’s pals denied it at the time, but there was a lot of tension over their closeness,” explained the insider.
Now, 45-year-old J.Lo is single again after dumping boytoy Casper Smart – even though they were together over New Year’s in Las Vegas.
And Nicole is terrified the three-time divorcée will try to steal her man, said sources.
“Nic’s will be watching them like a hawk,” added the pal. She already has a spy on the show.
“Nic knows someone on set who’s telling her what is going on,” dished the source.
The actress may even hire a mole to keep an eye on Keith, who had a history of partying before they wed, the friend said.
And she wants to make husband Keith jealous too!
“That’s why she told Jimmy Fallon that she had a crush on him when they met years ago,” a source says. On the Jan. 6 “Tonight Show,” Nicole admitted that she liked the host, but Jimmy had blown his chance.
“Nic thinks she trusts Keith, but she needs to be sure,” disclosed another friend. “She’s not taking any chances. She’s made it clear to Keith that she won’t take being humiliated again!”
