When a Cali girl is clobbered by a meteor full of outer space gunk, she grows to 49-feet-11-inches "monster" named "Ginormica" (Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon).
The military quickly drop kicks her into a top secret government compound where the military has been rounding up other monsters for years — the brilliant but insect-headed Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D (Hugh Laurie).; the macho half-ape, half-fish The Missing Link (Will Arnett) ; the gelatinous and indestructible B.O.B.(Seth Rogen).
The President, Stephen Colbert, (who else?) orders General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland) to release the imprisoned Monsters to save the world from an alien horror beyond time and space!
