MICHAEL DOUGLAS has confirmed to media he has a throat tumor.
Douglas kicked his half-pack-a-day cigarette habit back in 2006.
His rep says the Oscar-winner will undergo chemotherapy and two months of radiation treatments.
"I am very optimistic," Douglas, 65, said.
The severity of his cancer is not known in it’s entirety but the Wall Street star is expected to recover fully.
Earlier this year his son, Cameron, was imprisoned for drug-trafficking charges.
Michael is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones and his dad is Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas (in case your ‘friends’ didn’t know).
