MARY J. BLIGE DAD IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER MURDER ATTEMPT
Michigan cops say Grammy winner MARY J. BLIGE’s father in critical condition after his ex-GF allegedly stabbed him in the neck.
According to Michigan cops, Thomas Blige, 63, suffered a neck wound in an altercation at around 7 Am and was rushed Kalamazoo’s Bronson Methodist Hospital.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reported that detectives discovered a blood-covered knife at the scene, reported, and have arrested his former girlfriend on charges of attempted murder.
Detective Sgt. Jim Martens told media hat officers recovered the knife and found Blige's ex-girlfriend with blood on her clothing.
She was booked on charges of attempted murder and is currently held in custody in the Calhoun County jail. The 50 year old woman will be arraigned Friday.
Michigan cops say they had responded to seven previous incidents between Blige and the 50-year-old woman, who was charged last year with aggravated domestic violence after she whacked Thomas Bilge in the head with a glass candlestick.
She entered a no-contest plea to the charge and on Jan. 10 was placed on six months probie.
