It’s splitsville for Madonna and director Guy Ritchie, according to reports.
The London Times says Madonna has retained lawyer Fiona Shackleton a.k.a. Steel Magnolia to rep her in her divorce proceeding against hubby of seven years film director Guy Ritchie (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).
Madonna’s flack, Liz Rosenberg, offered the traditional non-denial denial, "My comment is I have no comment."
Brit tabs have been reporting for weeks that former Material Gal has ceased sharing her bed with Ritchie and stopped wearing her wedding ring.
The couple reportedly did not sign a prenup so Ritchie can battle for up to 50 percent of Madge’s alleged $600 mill fortune.
Lawyer Shackleton previously repped former Beatle Paul McCartney in his divorce from Heather Mills.
Shackleton, 52, declined to comment on the reports.
The 48 year-old Madonna met Ritchie, 39, in 1999 after being intro’d by Sting‘s wife Trudie Styler and got hitched a year later.
