EVA LONGORIA is no longer desperately caught in a love triangle – the former “Desperate Housewives” star has decided to get back together with Spanish hunk Eduardo Cruz!
As The ENQUIRER recently reported, the 37-year-old beauty was torn between Eduardo and handsome Texas businessman Ben Patton, a contestant on her new reality show, “Ready for Love.”
“Eva was in a very unsettled state as ‘Desperate Housewives’ wrapped and, quite frankly, she didn’t know what she wanted,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “Things with Edu were heating up again, but she was undeniably attracted to Ben.
“Now, I think she realizes that Ben was just an infatuation while Edu is the real thing.”
Eva dated singer Eduardo – the 27-year-old brother of actress Penelope Cruz – for a year before dumping him in March because he wouldn’t commit to marriage and a family, say sources.
But the actress, who’s already endured failed unions to NBA star Tony Parker and actor Tyler Christopher, is now ready to give Eduardo a bit more breathing room. And they looked happy together during a recent trip to Spain and Paris, France.
“Edu persuaded her to give their love another try, and they’re back together for the time being,” said the source. “But he still refuses to discuss marriage and he’s insistent that he’s too young to be a father. So her friends are warning her to take it slow.”
