Despite Heath Ledger‘s daughter Matilda getting his Oscar, mum Michelle Williams has other plans for their daughter.
The Dawson’s Creek beauty and costar of Brokeback Mountain (where she met Matilda’s father Heath) didn’t attend the Oscars.
She did attend the Independent Spirit Awards though having just completed a new indie herself – Wendy and Lucy.
Still ensconced in Brooklyn, New York Michelle has no intention of letting Matilda be an actor nor live in El Lay.
"I wouldn’t raise [her] there," she told the UK tab Telegraph. "For all the obvious reasons – being the daughter of…," she paused. "Being an actor’s daughter.
"It’s a town that’s about one thing and I want her to have options."
Michelle hopes her daughter becomes a doctor when she grows up.
But right now, if Matilda has her way, she’ll be a cowgirl.
