Kelly Ripa may be in for a crushing blow to her ego — sources say her sitcom Hope & Faith is set to be canceled. Network insiders said the co-host of Live With Regis And Kelly was already smarting from ABC’s decision to put her show on hold during the February ratings sweeps.
An ABC spokeswoman insisted that Hope & Faith would return in March. But the insiders say that the show is never coming back — and Kelly will be devastated when she gets the news!
Ironically, on Hope & Faith, Kelly, 35, played Faith, an actress who is driven to despair by the cancellation of her TV program. A production executive told The National Enquirer: “It was a bitter pill for Kelly to swallow when ABC told her that her show was on hiatus.
“Kelly truly believed that the February episodes would boost Hope & Faith‘s sagging ratings. But now, sadly, she may never get to know.”
