Katie’s headed back to the stage – this time in Washington DC for the annual Memorial Day concert.
Fellow thesp Gary Sinise and Katie are among the Hollywood power roll call for the May 24th gala event
Mrs. Tom Cruise and Suri spawn mum will team with Dianne Weist to read letters from a soldier’s personal story, weaving a poignant remembrance of war and things past.
The concert will also feature General Colin Powell, actor Laurence Fishburne, musicians Katharine McPhee and Trace Adkins, with Broadway stars Brian Stokes Mitchell and Colm Wilkinson and will air on PBS.
No word yet whether hubby Top Gun Tommy will lead a fly-by of angelic F-16s for the Memorial Day salute.
