That’s a huge sigh of relief you heard coming from ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”!

Dancer-turned-judge Julianne Hough is out, and producers think the show’s faltering ratings will rise!

“Julianne never really fit in,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER. “Fans didn’t like her, and there were tensions between her and the other judges.

“Julianne found fame — and an acting career — through dancing on the show, but she acted like she was doing everyone a favor by going back as a judge. Both Bruno [Tonioli] and Carrie Ann [Inaba] thought she had a major attitude, and that infuriated them!”

There was backlash when Julianne, 27, joined the judges’ panel for season 19.

It only got worse when 71-year-old Len Goodman quit after season 20 due to the grueling weekly travel between the U.S. and Britain.

Ratings dropped without the notoriously cranky — but beloved — Len, and secret negotiations went into overdrive to bring him back.

“They need him to save the show,” said the insider. “I’m told removing Julianne and going back to a three-member panel was key to getting him to return!”

A gushy Julianne assured viewers, “it’s not the last you’ll see of me in the ballroom.”
