Dallas stars Larry Hagman and Linda Gray are thisclose to returning as JR Ewing and Sue Ellen for re-do of 80s classic soaper.
Both stars have confirmed they’ve been approached by Warner Brothers execs who are bringing back dallas in the wake of other series resurrections like Melrose, 90210 and forthcoming V.
The new Dallas would center on the TV couple’s son, John Ross, and his cousin, Christopher, the adoptive son of J.R.’s brother Bobby (still dead?) and sister-in-law Pamela.
But Gray, who hasn’t seen a script yet, is reluctant to go for the proverbial stunt-casting supporting role.
"I’m not going to wear little boring dresses with pearls around my neck. At this age, Sue Ellen should be a powerhouse role model,’ she said.
And Hagman, ever the JR-esque haggler, said he’s interested but "How much we talkin’?"
