Disgraced JOHN EDWARDS trying to control the rules for his legal deposition in the sex tape trial, according to legal documents.
In documents obtained by ABC News11 Raleigh, N.C., Edwards is asking the court that if his deposition is videotaped it will not be released to media unless it is actually shown during proceedings and becomes a matter of public record.
As the ENQUIRER first reported Edwards’ mistress Rielle Hunter, the mother of their love child, and former loyalist tell-all author Andrew Young have been battling over possession of a video tape of Edwards and Hunter engaged in various sexual acts.
Edwards is also demanding that the questioning in the deposition be solely limited to custody of the videotape.
It is still unknown when Edwards will give his deposition but it may solely depend on his "requests" being met by the presiding judge in the case.
