LO’S butt has gone bust!
Jennifer Lopez got awful reviews for “Gigli.” Her fiance Ben Affleck hit the road. And now the worst news of all: No one wants her beefy bum.
A year ago, the diva’s doughy derriere was all the rage in plastic surgery clinics, where flat-bottomed girls were flocking to get butt implants in an attempt to replicate Jennifer Lopez’s ample rear end.
Friends, what a difference a year makes!
Dr. Richard Fleming, codirector of the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, told Planet Tab: “Hollywood thrives on youthfulness and influences how people all over the world judge beauty. And we’re always surprised by our patients’ top picks of celebrity features.
“Jennifer Lopez’s lips are still considered appealing, but last year everyone wanted her butt – which now, no one ever asks for. That was last year’s look.
“While a huge percentage of patients want to look like the strong ‘classic beauties,’ such as Catherine Zeta- Jones and Charlize Theron, there are always those who request to look like the celebrities who might not be classic beauties, but are hot at the moment.”
Currently, the most requested face and body features come from an array of Hollywood hotties of various looks and age groups, according to Dr. Fleming.
“Women ask for Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Carrie-Anne Moss noses. They want the eyes of Catherine Zeta- Jones, Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry.”
And the winners of the best lips “Oscar” – Angelina Jolie, Liv Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.
“Coveted jaw and chinlines are Kate Beckinsale, Kate Hudson, Cate Blanchett and Cameron Diaz,” said the expert.
“Women want the cheeks of Beyonce, Renee Zellweger and Jennifer Connelly.
“When it comes to liposuction, the most requested body shapes are Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Britney Spears and Jennifer Garner.”
Dr. Fleming says that men opting for plastic surgery are just as celebrity-conscious as women.
Among men, several noses are in the running – including those of Keanu Reeves, Ben Affleck and Colin Farrell.
Men also want the jawlines of Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman. They request the lips of Jude Law, Justin Timberlake and Matt Damon.
“They want the eyes of Ashton Kutcher, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt,” said Dr. Fleming.
For cheeks, they ask to look like Mark Wahlberg, Ed Burns and Leonardo DiCaprio. They want the chins of Matt LeBlanc, Viggo Mortensen and Rob Lowe.
“Male patients opting for body sculpting,” said Dr. Fleming, “ask for the bodies of Vin Diesel, Will Smith and Tom Cruise.” Anyone for Woody Allen?
