Music cutie JEWEL‘s stunning announcement – following in the poo stained diapers of other celeb moms, she proudly proclaimed that she and hubby TY MURRAY have finally made a baby!
Jewel had just gone to work on her very first day as co-host of new reality show Going Platinum when she coincidentally received the startling news – just in time for a press release to promote both show and new baby.
"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" Jewel, 36, told media.
"It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I’d start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, ‘Oh, she’s pregnant.’ "
Jewel and Ty who’s a rodeo champ, tied the knot back in 2008 and have been trying to conceive for two whole years.
"I had to learn how to slow down," the workaholic singer confessed.
The couple, who call a 2,200-acre Texas ranch home, are now converting the guest room into a nursery.
She’s now working on –surprise — a new children’s album as she enters her second trimester.
