JESSE JACKSON RUSHED TO ER

description

Reverend Jesse Jackson rushed to hospital!

After complaining of severe stomach pains earlier in the week, Jackson was admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Civil right leader Jackson had been feeling ill all week, he told AP.  He had been campaigning for Obama and conducting a voter registration drive in Georgia when he became sick – possibly from dehydration.

Doctors’ initial diagnosis was viral gastroenteritis but were still conducting tests on the outspoken 66 year old Jackson.

Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of the stomach and small and large intestines according to The Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Symptoms usually include both vomiting and watery diarrhea.  The virus is also transmittable via the infected person.

It is unclear at this time the severity of Rev. Jackson’s illness.
