"American Idol" fans will see a familiar face when the show returns for Season 13 in January. JENNIFER LOPEZ is back!
J.LO, who was a judge in 2011, is part of what Fox is calling a dream team of judges which includes KEITH URBAN and newcomer HARRY CONNICK, JR.
"I have always been a huge fan of 'American Idol,' and really enjoyed my time as a mentor on the show," the musician said in a statement. "And I am honored that they've asked me to be a judge this season. As an entertainer, I am truly excited to bring my perspective to 'American Idol,' and to help emerging performers find their way."
"Idol" vet RANDY JACKSON will also be part of the show despite confirming his departure last May. "Surprise, surprise!" he said in a statement. "I am so happy to be back as part of this amazing show that started it all. "Season 13 is the place to be. The original talent show is back with a vengeance and ready to discover the best talent in America."
RYAN SEACREST will continue to host the reality show.
