Actress JENNIFER GARNER desperately wants to reconcile with estranged husband BEN AFFLECK – but sources have told The National ENQUIRER that the Oscar-winning hunk insists it won’t happen!
“Jen’s obsessed with getting a second chance,” a close family friend revealed. “She’s trying everything she can to salvage the marriage!”
That includes Jen, 43, sending Ben, 42, a message by still wearing her wedding ring, and “calling him constantly,” sources said.
After their divorce announcement on June 30, a scoop broken in The ENQUIRER, the two were photographed together at Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club in the Bahamas, where they own property.
The couple reportedly flew to the owners-only club to protect their children – Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
But sources said it was Jen who pressed Ben to accompany the family.
The star of the upcoming action flick, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” flew out of the Bahamas by himself on July 3, while Jen left two days later with the children.
The former “Alias” star did manage to convince Ben to head to Atlanta – where she’s filming “Miracles from Heaven” – to help look after the kids, said the source.
“Ben stays in the guest house of Jen’s rented home in Georgia, and he’ll be shuttling back and forth from L.A.,” added the insider.
Despite Jen’s pleas to get Ben to call off the divorce, her entreaties have fallen on deaf ears.
“Ben is done,” the source told The ENQUIRER. “Jen kept crushing him with rules and restrictions until it became too much!”
