Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance in “Nightcrawler” is getting Oscar buzz – and sources said he cranked up his inner weirdo for the dark drama.
Jake insisted on the “man bun” with a scrunchie for his hairdo, as well as wearing sunglasses all the time, even though the film was mostly shot at night.
“Jake was very nitpicky,” a source said.
“The filmmakers didn’t want the sunglasses, but he wanted it his way!”
Oscar may say Jake had a "method to his madness".
