Did they braid each other’s hair or are CHARLIZE THERON & SEAN PENN officially now “MORE than just friends”?
SEAN PENN may not be the most handsome guy in Hollywood, but he sure made waves in Hawaii with one of showbiz’s hottest babes – Charlize Theron.
The blonde South African beauty, 38, and notorious hothead Sean, 53, enjoyed a cozy post-Christmas holiday, sunning and surfing on the Big Island near his oceanfront home, where they stayed together.
The frolicking pair were photographed on the beach as Sean rode the waves and chatted amiably with another board-rider.
Meanwhile, the statuesque “Monster” star strutted her stuff on the sand in a skimpy striped bikini.
The two Oscar winners flew back to the mainland on the same flight, but in an apparent attempt to avoid publicity, they left the plane separately. However, on the morning of Jan. 2, Charlize and Sean were both spotted leaving her Hollywood home after he spent the night there. And on Jan. 4, they made a Starbucks run together.
Skarsgard, and Sean – who divorced actress Robin Wright in 2010 – had a list of galpals including actress Scarlett Johansson, “Dancing with the Stars” alum Petra Nemcova and rocker Florence Welch. Most recently, there have been rumors he was rekindling his romance with ex-wife Madonna, 55, following her split from French dancer Brahim Zaibat.
But the source says that the twice-married father of two “appears to be crazy about Charlize, and she’s very smitten with him. It seems they’ve become a whole lot more than friends.”
And NOW they have seem to have come out as a couple at last night's Golden Globes.
