Hulk Hogan‘s estranged wife Linda is terrified for her life after becoming embroiled in a murder-for-hire plot!
Edward Graziano, the father of the young man who was seriously injured in a 2007 car crash with the Hogans’ son Nick, was arrested on Feb. 26 at his home in Palm Harbor, Fla., on charges that he tried to hire someone to kill his estranged wife Debra.
Linda and Hulk befriended Debra after the accident and have been helping her financially, says a close source.
"They got her a place to stay near the hospital (where her son is) and have been providing her with $3,000-$4,000 a month," revealed the source. "Ed hates that. He’s insanely jealous and resents that she has friends."
Graziano’s ongoing lawsuit against the Hogan family is the driving force behind the murder-for-hire plot, claims the source. Graziano’s son John, who was a passenger in Nick’s speeding car, remains in a vegetative state in a Tampa hospital.
"Ed expects to make millions from Hulk Hogan," said the close source. "Killing his wife Debbie would have left him as the sole beneficiary of all that cash. He’s already turned down a settlement offer of $30 million."
Graziano gave an undercover detective $1,100 in cash, a $1,000 personal check and a $13.06 gift card to arrange for a hit man to have Debra killed in a car accident, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
"Linda Hogan spoke out against Ed, telling Debbie, ‘We’re going to do all we can to protect you from this evil man. He’s a beast!’" said the source.
Following Graziano’s arrest, Linda’s publicist said "people around the case" informed Linda that Graziano had threatened her – and that Linda was "scared to death" comnvinced that Graziano wanted to hurt her.
"Any threat from Ed Graziano would and is being taken very seriously," Linda said in a statement.
