Mel Gibson, Victoria Principal and Olivia Newton-John are among the rich and famous evacuated from their Malibu homes due to out-of-control brush fires.

The Southern California fires even halted production on TV shows like 24, NCIS, Cold Case and Big Shots.

The bed and breakfast run by Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott on Tori & Dean: Inn Love was also forced to close when the town it is located in was evacuated.

Other A-listers whose beachfront properties are in danger include Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and David Arquette and Tom Hanks.

The fires reportedly started when downed power lines ignited dry brush.
