Forget New York and L.A., George Clooney and Renée Zellweger are promoting their new film in small towns across America. The Leatherheads stars have been on a ‘Whistle Stop Express’ tour visiting Duluth, Minn., Maysville, Ky., Salisbury, N.C. and Greenville, S.C.
Clooney, who grew up in Augusta, Ky., told the Louisville Courier-Journal, "If you’re from a small town, you don’t really ever shake that. It’s the best support system and they’re always the biggest critics, which is kind of the fun of it."
Leatherheads opens nationwide April 4.
