When it comes to picking a mate, you can't go wrong with OPRAH, says her best pal GAYLE KING.
The CBS This Morning anchor proclaimed that if OPRAH was a man she would definitely tie the knot with her and she claims that marriage to her pal would be the easiest thing.
“She has all the qualities you would want in a spouse," King told the New York Times of her BFF.
"Somebody who is successful, who cheers you on, understands you, cares about you, supports you, who's honest with you. There's nothing difficult about her. Nothing."
Gayle also addressed Oprah's insistence that she knew her 1982 wedding to ex-husband Bill Bumpus would be a failure.
"That was a surprise to me," the mother-of-two said. "It's only because Oprah knows every single detail about my marriage that I wasn't offended. And if she would've told me at the time, I wouldn't have believed it. I was in love with somebody and thought that was it."
As for the ratings slum at CBS This Morning, she says, "Are the numbers where we want them to be? Certainly not. But I'm encouraged by the reaction I'm getting from people."
