GARY COLEMAN TRUCK TERROR

description

Utah cops say Gary Coleman hit a guy with his truck after arguing with him in a bowling alley.

Lt. Bill Wright of Payson, Utah police said Coleman and Cole Rushton got in a heated shouting match over pictures Rushton had snapped of the Diff’rent Strokes star inside the bowling alley.

The argument continued outside and then Coleman hit Rushton and a car as he pulled out of a parking space.  Both men were issued a citation and Wright just wasn’t sure if Coleman hit Rushton on purpose.

"We’re currently trying to sort through those issues," Lt. Wright told The Deseret News of Salt Lake City. "We’ve been able to establish there was an argument between the two, due to pictures Rushton wanted to take. He took some of Gary Coleman, and (he) wasn’t happy about it."

Rushton was taken to a nearby ER, treated for minor injuries and released.

Wright indicated to the Salt Lake Tribune that there were "indications" alcohol may have been a factor.

According to AP, neither Coleman nor Rushton could be reached for comment as both phone numbers were evidently unlisted.

The diminutive thesp had pleaded guilty to no-contest to disturbing the peace charges in California in 1999 after punching out an autograph seeker Coleman claimed had insulted him.
