FBI agents bust one of their own for spying for his GF Men in Black star Linda Fiorentino!
They collared rogue agent Mark Rossini, 27, after he was caught nosing around in top secret files about a wiretapping PI – the subject of a screenplay being written by the actress.
The Last Seduction star was researching her script on Anthony Pellicano, the celeb detective who dug more than his share of dirt after using fed connections to wiretap high profile Hollywood players. Linda evidently coerced BF Rossini to do a little digging of his own when he got nabbed.
The vet agent was charged with 5 counts of illegally accessing FBI computers between January and July 2007. The G-Man was one of the Bureau’s popular spokesmen in highly publicized affairs but now he’s copped to accessing the files.
A law enforcement source said Rossini resigned last Friday, according to The NY Post
Fiorentino, 50 and Rossini began dating in February 2006 after meeting at chic celeb hotspot Elaine’s restaurant.
Congressional Quarterly reported the disgraced Fed originally lied to superiors when confronted with illegal access to the hush-hush files. When his electronic fingerprints were detected, Rossini admitted his complicity and with his resignation, the charges were reduced to misdemeanors.
Rep for both the actress and ex-FBI guy did not respond to media queries.
