EXCLUSIVE NEWS: PAM ANDERSON SUFFERS MISCARRIAGE

"Baywatch" star Pam Anderson has suffered a tragic miscarriage while on location in Vancouver, the ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

Pam, 39, was eight weeks pregnant by her new husband rock-rapper Kid Rock, 35, and is currently filming the comedy "Blond And Blonder" with co-star Denise Richards in Canada.

"Pam is crushed — she was trying to keep the pregnancy a secret until she finished her first trimester," revealed a source.

"This baby meant everything to Pam and Kid, and she'd only told a handful of people about the exciting news."

The source said Pam — who has two boys aged 10 and 9 through her marriage to rocker Tommy Lee — began bleeding on the set at the River Rock Casino in Richmond, British Columbia (a suburb of Vancouver) while on a break from shooting.

Pam has miscarried before and this time did not feel that she needed to seek medical attention. She went back to work.

Pam's ordeal preceded Denise Richards' violent confrontation with photographers.

"Denise was trying to take care of distraught Pam when the whole thing blew up," continued the source.

"Pam didn't want anyone to know about her tragedy, and went quietly back to work.

"When photographers began shooting the actresses from the third floor balcony of the casino, Denise reacted by protecting her friend.

"In the resulting scuffle with the paparazzi, she ended up throwing two laptops off the balcony ledge."

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police was summoned to the filming location following the incident with the two unauthorized photographers.

Mountie spokesman Cpl. Peter Thiessen said that a computer "struck an 80-year-old woman in a wheelchair. It struck her in the arm. She was not interested in pursuing criminal charges and suffered only minor injuries."

Police interviewed both Pam and Denise about the run-in, and the movie production company has agreed to pay for the damages to the photographers' computers.
