Big-screen bombshell Cameron Diaz and rocker Benji Madden are engaged!
The two only began dating in May, but they’re “planning their wedding for early in the new year,” a source told The National ENQUIRER.
“They’ve been telling close friends in recent weeks about their plans, but it’s very hush-hush.”
As we reported in September, the love-struck pair were already talking marriage and babies, and now they’ve made it official!
“Benji proposed and gave her a ring,” the source said. “It’s been a real whirlwind romance.”
The two have been inseparable since being introduced by Nicole Richie, who’s wed to Benji’s twin brother, Joel.
It was love at first sight for Benji, 35, – who’s dated Paris Hilton and Playboy beauty Holly Madison – and 42-year-old Cameron, whose exes include Justin Timberlake, Jude Law and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.
The couple couldn’t keep their hands off each other during a European getaway, and The ENQUIRER recently revealed Cameron put her $90 million fortune at risk by not asking the “Good Charlotte” rocker to sign a prenup.
“Even Benji thinks they should have an agreement.
“It’s totally insane, but Cameron’s so crazy in love right now no one can get through to her,” a longtime pal told us then.
“It will be the first marriage for both, and the “Charlie’s Angels” actress has been spotted flashing a huge diamond engagement ring.
According to the source, “They have a couple of possible dates and venues in mind and are excited to tie the knot.
“But best of all, they’re planning on starting a family as soon as possible!”
