PREGNANT Drew Barrymore has been bitten by the shutterbug and will turn her baby into an instant media star, say sources.
Many celebs shield their youngsters from prying photogs, but the “Charlie’s Angels” heroine plans to make her baby the subject of a major pictorial almost as soon as she leaves the delivery room.
“It’s the biggest production of my life,” Drew told a pal.
And an insider divulged: “Drew has gotten all sorts of big-money offers from magazines to have the infant shot by anyone she wants.
“But she prefers to do the pictures herself, and her hubby Will Kopelman is in total agreement.”
The actress recently stepped behind the camera to photograph up-and-coming Hollywood stars for a “V” magazine feature called “Drew’s Angels.”
Her subjects included Victoria Justice of “Zoey 101” fame and “The Hunger Games” co-stars Amandla Stenberg and Isabelle Fuhrman.
But now her most important “production” – reportedly a girl – is expected before the end of the year.
The multitalented 37-year-old, who wed art consultant Will in a romantic June 2 ceremony on her California estate, is no stranger to both sides of the camera, having produced films as well as acted in them.
“She also loves directing movies like her roller-derby flick ‘Whip It,’” noted the insider.
“And recently she’s gotten nuts about still photography. She loves taking photos of Hollywood starlets.”
Now, she plans not only to do still photos of their new baby but also hi-def video and film, according to the insider, who added: “Drew told a pal, ‘I have so many ideas about different settings in which to picture our baby that I have to write them all down or else I’ll forget them!’”
