Sofia Vergara’s ready for her own “Modern Family” — and she’s not letting embryo wars with a troublemaking ex-fiancé stand in her way!
Sofia, 43, has been legally blocking Nick Loeb from accessing their two previously frozen test-tube embryos. But the “Modern Family” star is ready to freshly hatch twins with new, soon-to-be husband Joe Manganiello, 38, sources revealed.
“Sofia has her heart set on having twins with Joe,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER.
“They’re interviewing surrogates. Joe couldn’t be more excited. The chances of having twins increase with in vitro fertilization (IVF). But both feel two babies would be perfect.”
Sofia, who’ll be tying the knot in a lavish ceremony with the “Magic Mike XXL” heartthrob this November in Florida, admitted she’s worried about conceiving at her age, and recently revealed: “I’m really borderline at my age to do it. And if I’m going to do it, I would need a surrogate. I’ll need help. But I don’t mind it; it’s fine.”
Friends have said she is desperate to move on from the controversial drama surrounding the two embryos she’d frozen while engaged to Nick, who filed court papers claiming rights to them earlier this year.
Sofia maintains Nick’s claims have no basis.
The Colombian actress, who proudly watched grown son Manolo graduate from college, now looks forward to starting a family with Joe.
“Sofia and Joe would love to have a baby — or two — on the way by Christmas! It would be the greatest gift,” said the source. “Everyone’s bubbling over with excitement!”
