Help IS on the way for binge eating yo-yo dieter KIRSTIE ALLEY! JENNY CRAIG is willing to let bygones be bygones and help KIRSTIE shed the 25 pounds she’s regained!

After unceremoniously dumping her as spokesperson in early 2008, the weight-loss company has extended an olive branch to the former “Fat Actress” star, offering to welcome her back as a special guest sponsor, sources say.

“The Jenny Craig brass keep tabs on their former celebrity spokespersons, and just like the rest of the world, they’ve watched Kirstie struggle with her battle of the bulge,” a corporate insider told The ENQUIRER.

“They loved having Kirstie as their representative for three years because she lost 75 pounds by following their plan. Plus, she’s so much fun that everyone loves her!”

Still, the company replaced Kirstie with sexy Valerie Bertinelli. The former “Cheers” star fired back by developing her own weight-loss program and line of products, and she claimed to have dropped to a svelte 140 pounds after her stint on “Dancing with the Stars.”

But the 5-foot-8 Emmy winner – who admits hitting 230 pounds at her heaviest – eventually began bulking up again. As The ENQUIRER recently reported, Kirstie, 62, ballooned back up to 200 pounds while stressing out over writing her memoir, “The Art of Men (I Prefer Mine Al Dente),” which is due out in November.

“Kirstie eats when she’s under pressure, and that’s exactly what she was doing while trying to finish her memoir,” a source close to her told The ENQUIRER.

“She’s a classic binge eater and she can pack on the pounds faster than anyone. Kirstie is her own worst enemy – she knows she’s fat and she hates herself for it, but that just makes her eat more. It’s a vicious cycle.”

When the folks at JENNY CRAIG read The ENQUIRER story about Kirstie’s recent weight woes, they made an effort to get back in her good graces.

In a statement, the corporation said: “We are proud of her accomplishments while she was on our program. We remain supportive of Kirstie, wish her nothing but the best and we would welcome her back at any time as a returning client.”

The insider added: “Jenny Craig wishes the best for all their clients, but they especially want Kirstie to succeed. She’s the classic yo-yo dieter, and because she wrestles with her weight in public, everyone roots for her. Hopefully, she’ll figure it out before she faces serious health issues.”
