Longtime magician David Copperfield is under investigation by the FBI. According to Fox News, a Seattle-based woman has accused the world-famous illusionist of rape while she was in the Bahamas.
Copperfield’s attorney has issued a response, saying, “If in fact those are the allegations, unfortunately false allegations are all too often made against famous individuals. But we are confident the investigation will conclude favorably.”
Copperfield has a warehouse in Las Vegas where he stores memorabilia and other objects he uses in his shows. On Thursday, Oct. 18, an investigation took place.
