DAKOTA JOHNSON, the daughter of Hollywood legends DON JOHNSON and MELANIE GRIFFITH, has been chosen for the coveted role of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie version of the erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"My beautiful child Dakota has been chosen to play Anna Steele in 50 Shades," Griffith wrote on Twitter after the announcement her 23-year-old daughter got the job. "Look out world! Here she comes!!! #proudmama."
Dakota has already been on the big screen in "The Social Network," "21 Jump Street," and "The Five-Year Engagement." She also appeared in the Fox comedy "Ben and Kate."
Author E L JAMES announced Dakota's role on Monday and named "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam as her leading man Christian Grey. In the film, Dakota's college-girl character who engages in S & M sex with an older billionaire.
