James Bond Daniel Craig is a scaredy cat - he's afraid of guns!

Craig promo-ing new flick Defiance where he plays a WW2 Jewish resistance fighter in Nazi occupied Poland alongside Liev Schreiber and Jamie (Billy Elliot) Bell admitted it was damn cold  in the frigid tundra of Lithuania.

"We had… the occasional shot of vodka," the urbane Craig told the NY Daily News drolly.

Another way the actors kept warm was to fire their guns - and this band of brothers did more of their share of shooting.

"I wouldn't touch a gun in my everyday life," Craig admitted sheepishly.

"I don't enjoy firing guns, either ... even with fake bullets," Schreiber backed his thesp bro.
