America’s favorite hot mess, LINDSAY LOHAN investigated for battery after an alleged incident at the Betty Ford rehab center
Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said officers responded to the Betty Ford Center facility in Palm Desert December 12 shortly after 1 a.m. for an incident said to involve Lohan.
Valenzuela told media a female staffer reported having a dispute with the troubled star.
The rehab staffer wanted to pursue charges against LiLo.
Detectives continue to investigate the allegations, Valenzuela stated.
The findings of detectives will then be presented to Riverside County prosecutors, who will decide whether or not to press criminal charges.
A Betty Ford spokesman told AP the facility does not comment on its patients nor reports of alleged pugilism.
But AP reports the staffer who gave an interview to TMZ.com has been fired by the rehab facility.
